zombii 2: zane and brea sing their hits.
Posted July 13, 2009

we won’t have an entire comic ready for you at comic-con. sorry. but we will have…an album!
zane and i made some homemade recordings of ourselves singing about our favorite zombie movies, entitled Zombii 2: Brea and Zane Sing Their Hits. (thanks to benjamin marra for the cover art above!)
here is one of the songs for your listening pleasure – Night of the Living Dead (1968)
(thanks to bill who also helped write a few of the tracks
you can only get it at comic-con from us and probably only at our signing.
here are the rules:
1) you have to ask about it
2) you have to trade us something. anything is fine – maybe it’s your own comic or your own album about your favorite zombie movies. maybe it’s a sharpie (those are helpful) or a cookie (we’re both lactose-intolerant, fyi). it’s up to you! (we do not trade for hugs or kisses or anything alone those lines.)
we have a very limited amount. don’t forget to come to our signing at 4:30 on thursday at the IDW booth. you can also ask us about it if you just see us on the floor.

Hey, I was there! Just barly though… I was in a ridiculously long line in the 3300s when my husband called to say “Uh, if you want to give Brea and Zane picture you drew for the trade- you better get to the 1700s STAT because they are signing earlier then what was posted!” Dude. aisle 3300 to 1700 in under 20 mins… talk about tracffic jam… but I made it. Ran over some kids and a grandmother but I made it!

What type of cookies do you like? Knowing ahead would be nice.

And yet you do not specifacally refuse hugs from people dressed as cookies? I see a loophole, either that or printing up tshirts of the cover, but that would be if I could ever leave my state.
Its a really interesting idea, to barter instead of sell or give away, you should post anything interesting that you get. A laundry basket of lint or something insane like that.

Nid is right–I am so proud. In fact, I started crying when I listened to the song. Who knew they could sound so good together!
